These terms cover this website and the digital products sold under the Consulting Connection name. Services — tax preparation and notarial work — are governed by a separate written agreement signed before any work begins, not by this page.
What the digital products are, and are not
Every product sold here is an organizational tool. They contain checklists, worksheets, trackers, templates and prompts. They do not contain legal advice, tax advice, financial advice or accounting advice, and buying one does not create a professional relationship of any kind between us.
Rules for notaries, tax preparers, signing agents and small businesses are set state by state and change regularly. The products say this repeatedly and ask you to verify anything jurisdiction-specific with your own authority. That instruction is part of the product, not a formality — please follow it.
Nothing sold here guarantees an outcome. A journal does not guarantee a promotion. A setup record does not guarantee a successful business. A signing system does not guarantee assignments. What they do is help you keep better records and work more consistently, which is a real benefit and a different thing from a promise.
Your license
When you buy a product you get a personal, non-transferable license to use it yourself. You may print it, fill it in, and keep copies for your own use indefinitely.
You may not:
- resell it, give it away, or share the file;
- post it anywhere others can download it;
- use it as material in a course, training programme or product you sell;
- remove the copyright and license notices.
If you want to use something with a team or a class, write to me. That is usually a yes, on different terms.
Payment, delivery and refunds
Purchases are processed by Gumroad, which is the merchant of record and whose terms govern the transaction. Delivery is immediate on payment, by download.
Because the file reaches you in full at the moment of purchase, digital products are sold without a general right of return. If a file will not open, is corrupted, is not what the page described, or contains an error, tell me within 30 days and I will fix it, replace it or refund you. If I issue a corrected version of something you bought, you get it at no charge.
Accuracy
I check what I publish, and I will still occasionally be wrong. If you find an error, please tell me — I would rather fix it than have it sit there. Corrections go out to everyone who has bought that product.

Liability
To the extent the law allows, liability for anything connected with a digital product is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
